Position Open: Bookkeeper for Seattle Presbytery Tuesday, April 29, 2008 (127 reads)
The Seattle Presbytery has a ¾ time position available immediately for a Bookkeeper/Accountant.
This person will provide bookkeeping services to presbytery committees, ministry teams, closed congregations and worshipping fellowships as needed. He/she will track the Expense Budget for mission and programs and the Administrative Budget, as well as the church extension fund which includes investments and loans for the Presbytery. The bookkeeper will issue checks and manage accounts receivable, remittance processing and accounts payable using MAS 90 software, administer payroll through CompuPay and provide reports and statements to the Council. Familiarity with Peachtree software is a plus.
