Requirements:
• Passion for serving Jesus Christ through arts and music
• Profession of the Christian faith and lifestyle consistent with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
• Excellent communication skills
• Musical/Vocal and guitar or keyboard proficiency and experience leading worship in the modern style
• Strong organizational and people management skills
• Strong team building and recruiting skills
• Ability to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
• A deep understanding of youth and young adults and their culture
• Experience with event technology preferred (sound/video/lights)

Duties
• Provide musical leadership for Wednesday night High School worship
• Provide musical leadership each Sunday for the Jr-High Sunday school program
• Be an integral member in the planning of worship and the vision of worship for the youth department
• Recruit, train, coordinate, and supervise student youth bands/teams for youth worship program
• Stage manager and support for facilitating all youth programs Jr-High Sunday and HS programs, and rehearsals (set platforms/venue, instruments positioned, music stands, lighting, etc)
• Create and develop visuals for worship during required services
• Provide music leadership for youth retreats and trips
• Program appropriate music and services based on vision for music and worship at FPCB (Jr. High and High School program)

Compensation: TBD $40,000
FPCB classification: Full time E-2
