Full Time Administrative Assistant - John Knox PC

Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm
Salary: 30-35K DOQ

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Providing warm, welcoming yet professional phone and visitor reception.
·         Composing, editing and producing collateral materials as requested.
·         Providing support for special projects and events.
·         Managing hard copy and electronic files and data bases in support of ministry areas.
·         Collecting, sorting and distributing mail, assembling and delivering bulk mail.
·         Placing office supply and book orders: putting away supplies and reconciling receipts.
·         Maintaining neat and orderly supply cabinets and office space.
·         Filing and record keeping.
·         Managing specific administrative projects in a timely manner and with excellent attention to detail.
·         Providing back up support to the Office Manager.

Qualifications:
·         Ability to demonstrate flexibility with grace and patience.
·         Minimum 3 - 5 years of administrative experience.
·         Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills, detail oriented.
·         Ability to demonstrate discernment and discretion.
·         Superior verbal and written skills.
·         Excellent phone presence.
·         Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time.
·         Team player with ability to work independently.
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong Internet skills.
·         Type 55 words per minute
·         Ability to demonstrate proficiency in office machines and equipment.
·         Physically able to lift 30 lbs on an occasional basis.
·         Must have car.
