The Purpose of Seattle Presbytery's Mission Development Committee is to walk alongside people in Seattle Presbytery congregations as they are discerning and enacting God's call into and out of emerging mission endeavors by providing resources to help churches in the following areas:

• Connecting with wisdom, experience, and other resources of Seattle Presbytery and its constituent members, churches and ministries.
• Visioning and discernment
• Project design, development, and cessation
• Funding strategy and resources
