The Ethnic Ministry Team (EMT) of the Presbytery of Seattle was established to develop resources, leadership, and programs connecting the Presbytery and its congregations with emerging new communities for the proclamation of the gospel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Offer encouragement, resources, and leadership to congregations as they work to develop relationships and partnerships with various racial, ethnic and immigrant groups.
• Coordinate an annual event for ethnic, racial and immigrant groups of the Presbytery to build on relationships, celebrate accomplishments, and encourage continuing development of new and existing ministries.
• Provide a listening presence to recognize and identify issues for new and existing ethnic ministries and work with them to identify resources and support systems needed.
