Build Up the House

Mt. View Presbyterian Church and University Presbyterian Church have enjoyed a longstanding partnership. While the two faith communities serve very different neighborhoods, together they have demonstrated the very best practices of what it means to operate as the Church: The diversity of gifts and strengths coming together to love people in the name of Christ. This partnership has a successful track record of working together in unique ways.
This partnership has expressed itself in an exciting initiative called “Build Up The House.”

Jubilee 2007

 The Jubilee Project is becoming a Kingdom Project. First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, Westminster Chapel, and Lake Sammamish Foursquare have invited Senior Pastors of 20 local churches to participate in Jubilee 2007 and "turn outward through acts of service that show our community the real Jesus."
Last year over 1000 volunteers from FPCB and 5 other churches worked in 4 Elementary schools to help teachers prepare classrooms and painted the Jubilee REACH Center inside and out. This year, for the third Jubilee Project, on Saturday, August 18th, we plan to expand our efforts and include several new locations.
