Spring 2008 Board Bulletin Now Available
In other news, new IRS regulations governing 403(b) plans have been released, most of which take effect January 1, 2009. The regulations require churches and employing organizations to assume responsibility for ensuring employees are in compliance with regulations governing 403(b) distributions, deferrals, hardship withdrawals, and the like. The Board of Pensions and Fidelity Investments are monitoring compliance for employing organizations that offer the Retirement Savings Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as their sole 403(b) option.
