UPC All-Church Picnic
Saturday, May 3, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Warren G. Magnuson Park
Church picnics are an important part of UPC’s history, and this one will be the biggest of them all! The picnic will be held at Warren G. Magnuson Park, located on a mile-long stretch of Lake Washington’s shoreline in northeastern Seattle. The park offers lots of room for swimming, walks, kite flying and all types of recreation. The committee has secured a great spot by the water, with plenty of parking and easy access for the handicapped. There will be designated areas to connect with friends and former ministry partners, plus lots of activities for kids and adults. All you need to bring is whatever you want to barbeque — UPC will provide all the side dishes and beverages. The picnic goes from late morning until late afternoon.
PLEASE NOTE:  People DON'T need to bring their own food to this; all food will be provided. BUT, a ticket is required to eat at the picnic. Tickets are complimentary and available by calling the Centennial Hotline at 206/524-7301 ext. 100 or by contacting Lil Runnion at lilr@upc.org. A caution that this is also Opening Day so the Montlake Bridge will be closed. Traffic around Magnuson Park will be heavy.

Celebration Sunday
Ministry Fair, Annual Meeting Sunday, May 4

The annual Ministry Fair in Larson Hall from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. will be a fun and interactive way to explore the numerous ministries offered at UPC. At 11:15 a.m. in Larson Hall, the annual UPC congregational meeting will be held.
There will be a Museum of UPC Memorabilia in addition to the Ministry Fair.
